Throughout the trip, I also focused on my writing practice, keeping a field journal, and writing multiple times a day.
I completed the trip with one of my best friends, whom I met in high school. This friend is the person I originally got into hobby photography with in high school, and now we both have fully developed photography practices, pursuing the things we dreamed of years ago- the trip was a full circle moment for our development as artists.
